Do you take health insurance?

Starting in the fall, we will have a women’s health provider who takes Regence and Premera! If you would like to be on the waitlist to see this provider, email us!

Dr. Jenna is considered an out-of-network provider in Washington state. Payment is due in full at the time of your visit.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for visits?

Yes, absolutely! If your insurance plan includes an HSA or FSA, you can use these pre-tax dollars for visits with Dr. Jenna.

Can you be my Primary Care Provider (PCP)?

No, Dr. Jenna does not practice as a primary care provider. Many of Dr. Jenna’s patients have a PCP (ND or MD) and work with her alongside them for additional and deeper support.

Can you submit claims to my insurance company on my behalf?

Yes! We can submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf. You will then receive reimbursement directly per your benefit allowance and deductible. We can also work with you to check your out-of-network benefits. Many plans have good coverage (up to 80%) for out-of-network visits and most patients use their HSA to pay for what is not covered.

Will lab testing be covered by insurance? 

Dr. Jenna uses Labcorp and Sound Medical Lab for basic lab testing. Most Washington-based insurance companies have coverage for labs regardless of whether the ordering provider is in-network or not. Dr. Jenna also uses other labs for comprehensive testing - hormone, GI, and nutrient panels, for example. Depending on the plan, these labs may also be covered by insurance.

Do you provide obstetrics or midwifery services?

No, Dr. Jenna is not an obstetrician (OB) or midwife. Dr. Jenna provides supplemental care to your OB or midwife to help support your body pre, post, and throughout pregnancy.
