Specialty Labs

Dr. Jenna offers an individualized, comprehensive, and holistic approach to treating patients. She utilizes specialty laboratory testing as appropriate to gather more specific information about the body and offer personalized treatment to achieve patients' health goals.

Some of these specialty labs include:

Cardiovascular Function Testing

Know your risk for heart disease! This test is a great tool for patients with or at risk for high cholesterol or cardiovascular disease (CVD), as well as those who want to optimize their cardiovascular health. This test offers proprietary and comprehensive cholesterol testing, genetic testing related to CVD risk, and fatty acid nutritional status. Patients receive an individualized report booklet complete with diet and lifestyle management tools tailored to their results.

Hormone Testing

Ideal for patients who are experiencing fatigue, low libido, weight gain, depression, mood swings, PMS, difficulty with conception, or who are curious or concerned about the status of their hormones. This test measures sex and adrenal hormones, along with their metabolites, for a complete assessment of any hormonal imbalance and individual treatment options.

SIBO Breath Testing

Utilized to diagnose Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) and monitor treatment. There are many circumstances that can lead to SIBO, including the use of antibiotics and/or PPIs (heartburn medications), abdominal surgery, long term stress, and poor eating. Dr. Jenna will do a complete assessment of your symptoms before determining if SIBO testing is necessary.

Stool Analysis
(including Parasitology)

Considered for patients who are experiencing abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, IBS, and indigestion, especially with a history of overseas travel. Comprehensive stool testing assesses digestive and absorptive function, the status of the gut's microbiome, the presence of opportunistic pathogens, and the efficacy of treatment.
